BMW have been giving me the run around. My 2013 BMW X3 just quit on the highway Saturday with my wife and daughter in the car. In the engine switch, we found it was indeed due to the secondary chain on my 2013 N20 Engine (X3). I originally took it to my indy, who I love and trust wholeheartedly. My car has now over 106,000 miles and Im having to replace the entire timing chain as its stretched and will need the chain,guides, tensioners etc 1700$! Still owe 8k on it.
